Finally, I’m back to writing a review. This time I wanted to tackle a Switch game. That game, as the title says, is Monster Hunter Rise. I’m fortunate enough to have a job where I get to play my Switch at work due to the fact that it is a graveyard shift and nothing happens. I am so glad this game came out to occupy those hours every day where I have absolutely nothing to do. They really made this game better with the quality of life changes and artwork. …

A little while back Star Wars Fallen Order came to Gamepass when Microsoft and EA worked out a deal to add EA properties to the games service platform. To be honest I didn’t have a lot of hope for Fallen Order to be a game I really enjoyed, but I had no reason to not give it a shot after it arrived to Gamepass so here we go.

Fallen Order is a souls like Star Wars game released back in November of 2019, as stated before I did not pick it up at release. You play a young jedi hiding…

As you all probably know by now, the Steam Deck was open to pre-order this last Friday June 16, 2021 at 10 a.m. PDT. I was fortunate enough to easily get $5 down on the 512 gb model. I wish I could say it was quick, it wasn’t, but it was also not too bad for me. It took maybe a total of 20 minutes at most. Either way, I’m very excited because I get to be an early adopter in something that might change the way I game on the go. Right now I use a Switch Lite. I…

If you haven’t heard, Nintendo announced the new Nintendo Switch OLED. It’s a Switch with an OLED screen. Not much of a difference between it and a regular Switch. In fact, the only differences are that it has 64 gb of memory instead of 32, a kickstand, and now an ethernet port to plug in your internet if you don’t want, or can’t, to use wireless. It’s all priced at $350 which is $50 more than a regular Switch.

I have seen a lot of people on Twitter, so it might just be some, complain about this. Complain that it…

If you have read any of my past stuff you know I love this game and I’m going to tell you to buy it. If you didn’t know that, well, spoilers and now go buy it. 10/10, love the game and I want as many people as possible to buy it. Also I will go into the core mechanics in depth so if you are not interested in that than you can go check ABG’s reviews, those reviews will cover the basics. Also a quick shout out for this game having the absolute best character creator I have ever seen…

I picked up Ori after ABG was about halfway thru his play through. I was told the game was a true gem that hit all the right notes. I picked up the game and can say it was beyond impressive and definitely has a full recommendation for anyone to buy and enjoy. It has a lovely story that is both portrayed in a really cute way and still retains a large amount of heft. The way the narrative is laid out is fun and intuitive. …

For those who enjoy a short read I am Lexi, the new writer at Aggravated Bear gaming. If however you want to learn a little about me then stick around and hopefully you’ll have a bit of fun reading about me.

As said before I am Lexi. Quick facts about me, I’m a trans-lesbian who has been gaming for about a decade and a half. I used…

Let me start this off by saying that I hope the Silent Hill fans and Kojima fans get what they want if this turns out to be true. However, for me, Kojima is just an asshole who thinks he’s clever. His games aren’t clever and aren’t fun. I wonder how many product placements will be in the Silent Hill game? People act like Konami were the losers when Kojima left, but I see it as they weren’t paying someone a bunch of money to just throw it at nothing. He’s not a visionary. His games are just bleh. They exist…

Ori and the Blind Forest is a game I’ve been meaning to get to for about a couple of years now and I have to say that I’m sad that I didn’t get to it sooner. It is such an amazing game. It has it all. Right now, as I type this, my friend is playing their run and is loving every second of it. It’s so good that I’m sad I didn’t buy it for full price when it released. Only one other game made me feel that way and that was the first Nioh. They did everything right…

I’m back with an updated Nioh 2 review because I realized after I posted the first one that I forgot important information to share. I apologize in advance if I make the same mistake. I can be a bumbling idiot a lot of times. This time I’ll go over three important aspects of the game to me: gameplay, character customization, and crafting. To me, those three are quite important to the game.Yes, character customization is important to a game because it allows players an extra choice. Playing as some generic white guy hasn’t been fun for a long time.

Now…
